ISDR-ICL Sendai Partnerships 2015-2025 for Global Promotion of Understanding and Reducing Landslide Disaster Risk was adopted and signed by global stakeholders on 16 March 2015 during the 3rd Word Conference on Disaster Risk Reduction (WCDRR) in Sendai, Japan. It will terminate in 2025. The global landslide reduction needs will continue or increase by urban development due to population growth and climate change even after the Sendai Partnerships. The 2017 Ljubljana Declaration on Landslide Risk Reduction based on the high-level panel discussion in WLF4 adopted the concept of the Kyoto 2020 Commitment for Global Promotion of Understanding and Reducing Landslide Disaster Risk (KC2020) on 31 May 2017. KC2020 was drafted in 2017 and improved in 2018. The content of KC2020 is expected to be finalized in September 2019. Then, it will be circulated for signature to ICL-IPL organizations and other organizations which are willing to commit for global landslide risk reduction. The KC2020 is planned to launch on the high-level panel discussion of WLF5. The title of the final draft of KC2020 is as below.
